Jesse James King

Jesse James King, born in Clinton N.C. started his career as a musician at age sixteen, when he was offered tu join The Deltons for a major US tour supporting Tina Turner, Bo Diddeley, US Bond.
Two years later he was to make the big move to Paris with Rocky Roberts and the Airedales, a soul band that became very popular in France and Italy reaching the top of the charts several times, touring with acts like the Rolling Stones, Jimmy Hendrix,
Gene Vincent
etc.

Jesse loved everything about it, but not as much as he loved singing the blues - playing his Hammond organ, wich led him to write and perform his original materials. Jesse James King has since then played all the major blues venues all over the world.

Those where there surely remember the unforgettable sessions at the Montreux festival, Lugano Blues to Bob, the Kristansun Festival with the house band and many more. It was during one of those exciting sessions that Jesse bumped into old time friend Vic Vergeat
(former member of legendary band Toad).

A couple of months later they found themselves at Roxxx Studios (Florida) and together with a deep south gang of hardcore bluesmen they gave birth to this very special recording.
It's international "live" sound is due to the producer's will to capture the magic that Jesse's powerful voice and soulful Hammond playing delivers anytime he's on stage.
